Nominator's project description
| Professor Primack is one of the world's leading conservation biologists. For the past 14 years, he and his colleagues have been investigating the effects of a warming climate on the plants and birds of Massachusetts, with an emphasis on continuing the observations made 160 years ago by Henry David Thoreau in Concord. In Germany, Professor Primack plans to devote his research to the study of leafing-out and other plant traits which are undergoing rapid change as a result of the impact of global warming. |
